Artisans Corner

At the corner of Water and Commercial Streets you will find Artisans Corner.  Twenty to twenty-five different artisans have produced an eclectic variety of hand-made items to buy as a gift for giving or for keeping! Just to whet your appetite you will find:  things for the home, both practical or to enhance your décor; childrens’ clothing and accessories; jewellery (vintage and new); beautiful photography and pictures; Scottish clan tartan potholders, ornaments and more; tole painted treasures; a Christmas corner of ornaments, etc; and so much more … if you enjoy looking around at antiques and collectables, there is a little corner upstairs that you won’t want to miss!

 


Lakenman's Farm

Lakenman Farm grows and sells a large variety of veggies, herbs, plants and flowers. Lakenman Farm is located in Bayview, outside Pictou, and has been producing food for 60 years! Second generation farmer Ed Lakenman and farm manager Susan Langille are a hard-working team and bring an amazing amount of produce to our market every Saturday. Lakenman Farm also operates a store at their farm which is open – from mid-July until early November – 7 days per week from 10 am – 6 pm. They also welcome custom & bulk orders.
